I think not. You can also purchase a good antivirus, spam killer, firewall and popup blocker like EZArmor for $40 for a year. If you keep AOL, it will cost you $25 or more per month. A difference of $260. Now, if you want to keep your email address, use the BYOP option (Bring your own provider). You can still check your email @aol.com, using your own Verizon DSL, That will cost you between 5 and 10 bucks a month, plus your DSL

What exactly are you asking? If you are asking can you hook Xbox Live up to a broadband connection, then, yes you can.
If you are asking if you can use a USB cable to hook the Xbox Live up to the network, then, no you can’t. You need a router or wireless router, with a wired, (RJ45 cable) or wireless, (wireless adapter) in the Xbox Live.
The Xbox comes with the ability to be hooked up to a network connection. It may or may not come with a cable; it depends on the package you purchased. If it came without a cable, you need to purchase one. Whether or not the Xbox came with wireless capabilities, which means with a wireless adapter either installed internally, or an external adapter you need to plug into the Xbox, also depends on the package you purchased.
If all you have is an Xbox Live, then you need to decide how you wish to hook it up, wired or wirelessly. If it will be wired, go out and buy a router, and a Cat 5 or Cat 6 ethernet cable.
You will need to hook up the router to the network connection, which is really not difficult.
After you have the router hooked up, you need to add the Xbox Live to the network, with whichever connection type you choose.
Here is some instructions for you:http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows…
Read these articles and instructions. Start with the Setting up a Network option, and then move to adding an Xbox, which is very simple to do, all of it is.
If you have any questions they can be answered on these pages. Just browse through them as needed and find what you need.
Good luck and much fun with your Xbox Live.

every time it rains , or badly storms our dsl connection goes out. I’m very annoyed .

I have Verizon DSL, and have access to their internet security through the disc i got w/ my router. The problem is, my computer wont run the disc, so I cant install anything. How the hell do I run the disc on a Dell 530 with Vista?

Wireless Network Interface Cards for each of the systems (if they don’t have one built in)
The drivers for the NICs,
Administrative access to the computers
A Wireless Router/Switch (Will sit between the Verizon router and your desktop PC)
One wired NIC to attach to the Router so that you can configure it (sometimes this can be done with USB instead)
… And an hour or so to configure the network using the included instructions.

When I set up my Verizon Yahoo account, I did it under my Verizon ID. I don’t know if there was an option to use a previously created Yahoo ID as I was in a hurry when setting it up the DSL and didn’t notice. Is there a way to link these two profiles?–they are both mine.

Hi,I’d like to here ONLY FROM PPL WHO HAVE OR DEAL WITH THE DSL ROUTERS WITH VERIZON. Im on my 3rd one in the past 2-3 years so far..they seem to break often..like this one i just got a few months ago,is doing the flashing lights like it wont go on right with the internet,so i have to keep flipping the switch until i get the solid 3 lights instead of them all flashing. Does anyone know the cause of this? I always consider them breaking, because once it did not go on at all after when i had a previous one and it kept doing that flashing thing..
