because you’re moving from att to verizon, both providers may allow you access to yahoo services but they are still different ISP’s with their own domains. If you had upgraded from att dial up to att dsl you may have been able to keep your email address.

I’ve canceled my verizon dial-up service three times (I have verizon DSL) and yet they still charge me for both Dial-Up and DSL. I’ve canceled and canceled and it keeps showing up.

buy a router (don’t get a splitter.) a router will allow you to share everything, including internet and printers. i use a Belkin non-wireless 4 port router, and I love it. nowadays wireless is the rage, but i prefer a good cable.

can my download go up to 768 kbps on a download and also up to that when I am uploading something? with my cable my dowload is a lot more than my upload, uploads stop at 50 kbps for me right now
I have 4 devices that need internet access (Verizon DSL), however they are in seperate rooms. I didn’t want a wireless router because my internet only goes 100kbps.

my friend let me borrow gta 4 for a bit for xbox 360, and my internet connection online doesnt seem very good, ill go to shoot at someone, but it seems it wont kill them, like i think its some major bullet lag. Ive been just chillin behind a wall then started to take damage out of no where.
I dont really have any other internet options that are quicker that will be just about as cheap as this, and is there any other way to get a better connection? Because if i cant play well on grand theft auto ill just go back to playing gears of war
Sometimes every ******* 60 seconds it loses connection. The screen turns white and takes 5+ minutes to recall the connection. It’s ******* terrible.
I don’t think I can even keep the connection for 25 minutes anymore – EVER – without it losing it and going blank.
I have to turn off the black box, wait a few minutes, turn it back on, and HOPEFULLY it’s got the connection, or else i have to repeat.
WTF can I do?
