Dsl Cant Connect When Some On Is On The Phone?
I have verizon dsl and westell 327w roter and when some one is on the phone i cant conntect to the internet and we have 2 cordless phone and only one of them has a cord to the phone jack and its downstairs and it has the line filter on it.
if changing the filters doesn’t work, and you have checked that the wiring in the house does not have any sloppy connections or broken wires, then call your ISP and ask them to run a test on the line – the trouble could be outside the house somewhere and they will fix it for free.
it sounds like it’s actrually dial up but if your sure your using dsl just call them up and ask them.

My problem was the line filters, I changed them and it worked..

that’s weird. hmm. u sure that the other phone doesn’t require filter? i also got the same service from verizon but im using a modem.
You need to plug all your homes phones with the filters, I received them with the DSL modem that makes you use the Internet while talking in the phone.
Did you add the filters on all of your phone jacks?
Double check and make sure that everyone of the phone jacks that have a device connected to it has a filter.
If the problem persists please contact your ISP!
